Schools’ Jamboree with Martyn Geraint

Martyn Geraint has been presenting Jamborees throughout Wales since 1992 and is very much looking forward to coming to Bala to remember Mary Jones’s incredible journey.

The Jamboree will also take us on a special journey – but this time we’ll be travelling around the world! We’ll make new friends while learning dances and fascinating facts about different countries, all while having lots of fun together.

Following the success of our performance of Greater Than Gold, we are delighted to present the Welsh-language version, Mwy nag Aur. Based on the original score composed by Roger Jones of Christian Music Ministries in 1983, this production is performed in Welsh – Mary Jones’s mother tongue.

Performed by a group of local volunteers, the musical is much more than a retelling of the story of Mary Jones and her Bible. It provides an opportunity to reflect on the importance of the Bible and the lasting impact and legacy that Mary has left on generations of Christians in Wales and beyond.
